Criteria

To be considered for the Dr. Ranjan Rajbanshi Scholarship for Medical Students, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Must be pursuing or planning to pursue a career in medicine, dentistry, healthcare, or a related medical field
  • Must demonstrate academic motivation and interest in contributing to the healthcare profession
  • Must submit a complete essay application

Essay Prompt

Applicants must submit an original essay responding to the following question:

“What inspired you to pursue a career in medicine or healthcare, and how do you hope to make a meaningful impact on patients and communities through your future work?”

Essay Guidelines

  • Must be original and written by the applicant

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is December 15, 2026.

Winner Announced

The winner of the scholarship will be announced on January 15, 2027.
