Dr. Ranjan Rajbanshi Scholarship | Supporting the Next Generation of Medical Professionals Dr. Ranjan Rajbanshi, DDS, MS, is a dedicated dental professional whose career reflects a strong commitment to patient care, academic research, and continued professional development. With decades of clinical experience and advanced education in dentistry and oral biology, Dr. Rajbanshi has built a reputation for providing quality dental care while continually expanding his knowledge in modern dental practices.
Dr. Rajbanshi began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Dental Surgery from Dhaka University in Bangladesh. He later advanced his education in the United States by completing a Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry. During his time at UCLA, he also worked as a Student Research Laboratory Associate, contributing to important research focused on oral squamous cell carcinoma under the guidance of Professor Robert H. Chiu.
His professional experience spans both international and U.S.-based dental practice. Dr. Rajbanshi started his clinical career at Patan Hospital in Nepal, where he provided diagnostic and treatment services to patients in the dental department. After moving to the United States, he continued serving communities through roles with Western Dental in California, where he practiced as both a General Dentist and Managing Dentist. Over the years, he has also operated private practices in Bakersfield, Mojave, and Santa Barbara, California, providing comprehensive dental care to diverse patient populations.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Rajbanshi has pursued extensive continuing education and advanced training in specialized areas of dentistry. His professional development includes training in implant dentistry, esthetic dentistry, orthodontics, and pediatric oral health, with coursework and fellowships from institutions such as Harvard University School of Dentistry, the California Implant Institute, and Progressive Orthodontic Seminars.
